Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern access to, browsing of, and use of the WantYou platform (the "Site"), a Swiss classified ads and matchmaking service for individuals. By accessing the Site, browsing, creating an account, or using the credit system, you accept these Terms without reservation.

The site provides content and services reserved for adults. By using the platform, you certify that you are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity. Access by minors is strictly prohibited.

Publishing ads requires creating a user account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and not to impersonate others. You are responsible for securing your credentials and all activity on your account.

The site is reserved for ads published by non-professional individuals only. The following are prohibited: commercial or paid offers, escorting or prostitution, ads on behalf of a business or third party, and any professional solicitation.

Ads must be lawful, truthful, and comply with Swiss legislation (Swiss Criminal Code, FADP/nDSG). Prohibited content includes illegal, misleading, abusive, or harassing material; pornographic or sexually explicit images or text; content involving minors; and material that infringes third-party rights or public decency.

Each ad is limited to 3 photos. Titles and descriptions may not contain URLs or HTML/Markdown markup. Contact details are not included in public HTML; they are revealed only to signed-in users upon explicit action.

WantYou provides a digital credit system to purchase ad visibility options. Credits have no monetary value outside the site and are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Credit acquisition: current pricing is shown in the interface (dashboard, publication wizard). On signup, a one-time welcome bonus of 3 credits may be granted under active promotional offers. Additional credit purchases may be offered on the platform later.

Standard (free) listing: every ad is published for 7 calendar days with up to 3 photos, then archived unless renewed.

Paid options (7 days each; only one active paid option per ad at a time): - Highlight: 3 credits — distinct background in listings. - Star: 5 credits — priority placement in the featured section. - Super Star: 7 credits — maximum visibility (premium badge, homepage priority). Options may be selected at creation or added from the account while the ad is active. When an option expires, the ad reverts to the standard offer; paid options are not automatically renewed.

Automatic renewal: can be enabled at publication (with a paid option) or from the account. When active, an expired ad is extended by 7 days for 2 credits automatically debited from the balance and recorded in the transaction history. If the balance is insufficient, the ad is not renewed and is archived. Users may disable automatic renewal at any time from their dashboard.

No refunds: credit debits (options, renewals, consumed bonuses) are firm and final. No full or partial refund is due if an ad is removed for rule violations, voluntarily archived, naturally expires, or if the account is terminated.

WantYou acts as a technical host for user-published ads. The platform does not generally monitor content and is not liable for ad accuracy, legality, transactions, meetings, or disputes between users. Use of the service is at the user's sole risk.

WantYou may moderate, refuse, or remove any ad that violates these Terms. In case of serious or repeated violations, WantYou may suspend or permanently delete the user account without notice or compensation, including permanent loss of any credit balance or active options, in accordance with section 5.

The collection and processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, accessible on the site and compliant with Swiss data protection law. By using the Site, you consent to that processing.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts at the operator's registered office in Switzerland after an attempt at amicable resolution.
